2004. A track from the 'Tom Junk' collection. The idea was to use no musical instruments whatsoever. All manner of household items, radio static, furniture, broken printers etc were abused and manipulated to create these numbers. I had originally wanted to release a record entitled 'Unstrumental' - but life got in the way.
In 2019, I was in Salisbury and attended the Alphabet Business Convention without knowing any artist. Lost Crowns was my favourite band that played there. Pablo P.
Of the two albums I own of Matt, this is my favourite. Song structures are interesting and Matt employs a variety of guitar-playing techniques to good effect. Expressive stuff, & good background music. If I have any quibbles at all, it’s that I find the drumming a bit annoying, at times. Thanks, Matt! 7.5/10. Alrihkh
